Classifieds Posting I am not sure of the vailidity of this as it was posted in the classifieds section of this website, but I figured I would post this FYI http://www.4042.com/4042classified/index.php It was in the General Merchandise Catagory Be warned! On Monday 1/5/09 somewhere between 1am to 5am some people went down Ridge Rd and Clayton Rd (also known as Loop Rd) in Western johnston County stealing everything from unlocked cars & trucks. I heard they also took a golf cart from someone's yard. If you have seen or heard anything or have any information, please contact Johnston County Police. Some of the people lost alot of stuff. It just upsets me that people work hard for what they have, then you have these LAZY AXX people that will NOT work and think it is ok to steal what others have worked for. Message to theavies: GET A JOB!
I read that too and wondered the same thing. It seems odd to me that someone would be posting that under a classified listing.
so... are we going to chastise and abuse them for not knowing how to work the boards? To me, they at least tried to notify folks and it would seem to me the message actually made to the right place eventually anyway. I applaude them for their efforts personally.
maybe to stop them from selling?? Maybe that person stopped the listing of stolen items on this website!?!? That is why they posted. It would have been more beneficial to post in the neighborhood maybe so they would have posted and then JO. Co. Sheriff may have had a better chance of finding the people that were in possession of stolen items. I hope they find these people!! It is a shame to have things taken from you that you ahve worked so hard for in life. Karma is going to be on these people!!!
:chillpill: Who is chastising? I just assumed that if they could navigate the site enough to post in the classifieds that they might click on the discussion board button and see they could put the info there as well. I would have never seen it if it hadn't been posted by someone else.
WHO CARES?? Thank you to the OP for giving us a heads up! I don't live over there but you never know where they could hit next!
