We have bags of kids clothes that we want to donate but we don’t want to give it to Goodwill. They have stacks of clothes and they don’t sell it very cheap. We want to give it to a local church or organization that will give it directly to the people who need it and no try to make $$ off it. Any suggestions? We would like to donate it locally in Clayton. Thanks for your help.
I had a load last week that I was going to drop off at Basic Needs, back by Bojangles on 4042, assuming they take them. But due to their late hours and having to get them out of my car I ended up taking them to Goodwill.

With Love From Jesus off of S. Saunders gives everything away for free--and the recipients hear a gospel presentation before they shop. They take everything a Goodwill type place would. www.withlovefromjesus.org
when we moved from Clayton to Garner I called salvation army they came and picked up the stuff and left us a paper for tax purposes, salvation army does sell the stuff but they use that money for its shelters and such so it does go to a good cause. I don't like goodwill either
There are 2 Donation Boxes for the N.C. cancer org ? Located @ Shell station on Hwy 210 near exit 319. They take shoes too.
Horne Memorial Church in downtown Clayton takes donations for children that come in from Russia. They usually come with very little and sometimes just the clothes on their backs, so they need almost everything. I'm not sure about the ages, but you could call the church.
