Does anyone here happen to know where I could get my hands on a harpsichord? I absolutely LOVE the sound and I have a "basic" knowledge of how to play a keyboard but would LOVE to extend my knowledge on one of those.............................................
There used to be an instrument store in downtown Smithfield. Not sure if its still there or not... but worth a check. That would definately be a "to order" instrument I would think.
now that is what i want, i miss playing the piano so bad, mine is in Lynchburg and would cost way too much to move:cry:
I know............but I want a REAL one...... I know............wish in one hand, poo poo in the other and see which one fills up faster...........:jester:
Real. One of them was free only to a church or other similar organization. ---------------------------------------- Piano - free - to church or other non-profit (Durham) Reply to: sale-992759699@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-01-15, 3:55PM EST Upright Kranich & Bach piano, plays fine with small repairs and tuning needed, but would need major reconditioning for serious user. Would make a fine "church basement" piano. Our kids have lost interest and we need the space, will donate if I can claim as charitable contribution (if you pick it up; if we deliver we'd charge $200 for delivery). I have "blue book" values and also a cost estimate for full reconditioniong. Well, me either right now, but in the future, there are several that have been posted for less than $100 which I could go for so craigs list looks liker a viable option. I always wanted to learn how to tune a piano.
