According to the classifieds in the N&O, D.R. Wells Emporium Annex will be having a liquidation sale of $500,000 of inventory conducted by Wester Auction Services from Jan. 29th - Feb 21st.

All that is mentioned is the ANNEX and the fact that the ANNEX is liquidating $500,000 of inventory. It does not necessarily mean that the ANNEX is closing for good, just that part or all the inventory of the ANNEX will be sold from the dates of Jan 29th through Feb. 21st.
Does that mean they are having a hugh blow out sale, or is there really going to be an auction there where you bid on the stuff.? Guess she over-ordered all that stuff.
I just can't believe that there is half a million dollars worth of stuff in that place. I've been in once or twice and enjoyed it because they had "different" stuff.
I've been in there too and was thinking the same thing when I read this last night.... where has she stashed $500,000 worth of inventory???
too be sure they aren't closing? I have heard of places cleaning out their inventory just to restock. Sooo :neutral:

I just got the Carolina Clipper, and they have an ad in there. They also list the website (http://ceannex.com/). I checked it out, and it's nothing but a shell...
