I just got back from the grocery store. Had to go anyway, just got extras. Should be well stocked for the snow. Kids are so excited.

    YEAH SNOW!!!
I am happy about the snow, but I am ticked because I have a doctor's appointment that I have been trying to make for a month!!!
Well, I will have to call Dr. Harris in the am and see if he is open tomorrow.

Does anyone remember the HUGE snow and lots of Ice storm that we got back in January 2004?
I got married on the 24th of January and it was 68 degrees outside, the very next day we got 9 inches of snow.....then a six inch layer of ice on top of that.

Well, I just got home from my shift at food lion, and I must say, everyone and their cousin must have bought a month's worth of groceries today. That four-letter-word, SNOW panicked everyone. Well I do hope all the customers found what they needed, and that we helped y'all get ready to be snowed in! Now I must get off my feet...maybe a hot bath is in order. It has been a long day!

I have not been to the store, and should have. I can drive in it, lowes isn't far from me, as long as they don't close down, I'm ok! The kids will love it, and since we just got back from NY, their Grandma bought them all sleds for xmas, so they'll be happy to use them! They even all have snowpants they can wear this time around, so they will be ready!! I say, bring it on!

I am not optimistic though, keep thinking it won't really happen, not as much as they're saying anyway, but will be happy if it does! But that means the kids will only have ONE day of school this week...odd! Good luck everyone, drive careful and stay warm!

Just watch out for other people, if you decide to get out and drive in it. I'm from NH, and I never hesitated to drive in snow up there, but here it happens so seldom people never get a chance to get the hang of it. Then there's gonna be a few idiots in 4WD vehicles, acting like cowboys and sliding all over the place. Really, avoid driving in the snow if you can!

Hope we get lots of snow so the kids can have fun!
