Anyone had any snow cream yet? Here is the recipe we use. We are enjoying.

    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup sugar
    scant 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
large bowl of snow (about 3 quarts)

Blend milk, sugar and vanilla. Stir in enough snow to make snow cream to
    an ice cream consistency.

PS Do not use yellow snow!

We always used cream(evap. milk) instead of milk. If you have caramel to drizzle on top, thats yummy too!

    Maybe maple syrup????

Actually have tried that and other flavors, too. No law says snow cream has to be vanilla!!!

    YUMMY!

I had some from close family this morning. I took a crack at making some myself and it was delicious!! Thanks Pooh!

Getting ready to make some myself. The neighbors across the street have never had any, so I think I will send a big bowl over to them.

I tried a similar rendition called "Antifreeze"
We took the snow cream and added some Cream Sherry.
Because of the sherry it will not freeze real hard, but ooooooh is it good.

I made some this morning and also a batch this afternoon. Tried "dgsatman" suggestion to add some maple syrup this afternoon. Not bad!:hurray:

Gonna do chocolate on the next batch and then I read you could add pureed bananas. I'll try it and see what happens.
