I have a page as well. To poke, is just so basically say HI! There was actually something on a news website that said some people lost their home to foreclosure after being POKED on facebook. It was the only way the attorney could get in touch with them.
I saw that about the attorney, and he got legal permission. I am addicted. I have found all kinds of people. My daughter always posts pics from our weekly activities. I can be found with my email laurakarolchik@gmail.com.
I thought I wasn't going to like FB, cause I was a MySpace addict for a while, but now I barely ever get on MySpace. I also wouldn't let Mini Me get a Myspace, but she does have FB.
Schools such as colleges do the exact same thing. When the teen and I went for orientation at the NC School of Science and Math they made that clear to all and included MySpace, Twitter and others. They also talked about screen names and email names and addresses. First impressions and all! Sherry
I am on it also. It is sooo addictive!!! I think I may need some counseling But I have found lots of friends...some that could have stayed "lost".
I have a facebook page. Pretty simple, look up Brooke Frame there I am. I posted pics of my furry babies and my non furry babies too. I do not like Myspace as much as I do Facebook.
I finally got on Facebook, have some time on my hands this time of year. Irritated though cause I can't hook up with harley - or vice versa :evil: I'm not blocked either - Glitches have a way of finding me. It's under my name (if you want it, pm me - will be on and off pc most of the day)

It worked for me, too. A great picture, your dog is so beautiful! I am on facebook as well, but I have been having trouble posting picture on the thread about showing snow pictures.
