I have already done a load of bath sheets - dogs are in and out their dog door, and I don't have the heart to lock it down, they're having fun. Figures I just washed kitchen floor yesterday afternoon - oh well, it's just water - it's deep enough out there that they aren't tracking in any yard debris with it
OMG, I miss my husky I had up in MI, she just loved the snow, we couldn't keep her in yard when it did snow up there. He is just so pretty, and it's in his blood, so he will stay out there for awhile. Good luck getting him back in. Sheri
We don't have a fenced in yard so he will just go and be gone. Not sure I'm brave enough just to let him go.
oh no I wouldn't do that either. Nikki was gone and she didn't care if we were calling her or not..it would take hours for us to get her back, but we always did. We had a 8 foot fence and that still didn't work. It didn't matter how much we walked her over and over, she wanted to run. I would love to have another one, but I just don't have the time to walk them like they need, even if my fence was finished I don't think it would keep him/her in. Sheri
Our next big purchase is gonna be a fence, thank goodness! My fiance wants to see if he will pull me in a sled, I know he will! LOL
Thank you! Hopefully he will pick up a sled on his way home and we will get some pics if it happens, how fun would that be hehe
Our dog was playing with something out in the backyard, rolling around and carrying it. I discovered a tiny animal - looks like a mole. It was still alive, and I brought it inside. Unfortunately, it did not survive. So I am wondering, what kind of animal would this have been? Looked like a tiny mole - a vole perhaps? Looked like a baby, but fully covered with fur, and it had what looked like part of an umbilical cord. The daughter says maybe it was mating or something. Just wondering. Pepper digs in the yard a lot, but this is the first time she found something and was "playing" with an animal... This is our pink flamingo http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/55/l_1e99dde5ac6840298bb5f04759a63a20.jpg
I have tried a couple different ways, to no avail. Odd, because I managed to post successfully before, with the hawk picture...I did it the same way. Maybe I am having a brain fart or something. Thanks for pointing it out!
Miller Lites very soon! No wood that's dry around here! :? Eating lunch and then headed out to take some pictures!
Thanks, Zookeeper! I have been trying to post all morning...who knows why i can't get the actual picture in my post. Husband has Picasa 3 and we have been tinkering with all the options. But havent figured out all the stuff yet, so I have been trying to pull the pics from my facebook and/or myspace. I am loving everyone's pictures they are sharing. This snow is so pretty, and it is good to be able to have the time off (all our work shifts in the household have been cancelled) to enjoy it! Keep 'em coming!
This is Kalee in the snow...fixin to have the Husky pull me across the yard, pics will be up shortly lol Hopefully I dont break a limb
