ANYONE been down HWY 210 today? (Wed)

Anyone been down 210 between Reedy Creek and I40 yet? Wondering how the roads are.

 

Or has anyone gone down rte 1010 towards Smithfield?

 

I drove from my house to 210 Mobil this morning. I was going to go to work, but it took 1/2 hour to go from Polenta/Indian Camp Rd. to 210 and back. I called my boss and told him and he said go home so the roads were not bad
(210) but the side roads are a sheet of ice in places.

 

I am going to attempt to get out to Goldsboro. Wish me luck. I know we have a three hour delayed opening. It usually takes an hour to get to work in good conditions

 

I drove Jackson King Road, 42, 40....all clear as a bell (few ice patches in the shade on 42 and Jackson King....just take your time, you'll be fine)

 

a normal hour ride took me about an hour 15minutes. Some patchy ice. But out on Indian camp\Polenta was the worst area.

 

Thanks everyone - heading out to take care of a few errands soon. I figured I'd wait till everyone heading into work who had a delayed schedule was where they had to go

 

you'll be fine, just don't get in a hurry!

 

All main roads look fine. I just wish folks would clean off their cars better before driving - its not fun to be driving along and get hit with a hunk of snow and/or ice! :?
