Make up days According the the school Calendar JCS 08-09 Cal, the Inclement Weather Days are: 12/22/08, 1/22/09, 4/17/09, 4/16/09, 4/15/09 in that order. according to the website, they are still having teacher workday on Friday so I guess they are not following their calandar any idea if they will stick to the April Dates for makeup?
Too short a period to use one of the workdays. And with end of 9 weeks, one day was protected to do class work, in the classroom. The other day is a protected professional development day, and they can't use that one. Looks like the Thursday and Friday of Spring Break just went away. So the schools will close for Good Friday, Mon, Tues, Wed. School on Thursday and Friday.
Yep - I forgot. I guess this is their winter break since now they won't get much of a spring one! :lol:
Ok, so tonight we get a call saying that only HS students that have to make-up EOC's have to report Mon & Tues and that 2 semester will start on Wed. So my HS dd has not been in school since last Tues (before the snow) - 2 freakin weeks of winter break. :banghead:
