I am looking for a good massage therapist, preferably nearby. I'm not looking for just a relaxing type of massage, I'm looking for someone that does true therapuetic massage to work on problems I have with my neck and shoulders. Any good ones out there? Thanks!

Not sure what you consider close by, but I've been going to Skin Sense day spa on Falls of the Neuse for awhile, but it wasn't until I "found" Michael that I feel in love with massage therapy :mrgreen::lol:

Seriously... he is really good at working out the kinks. He is not afraid to really get into the muscles like some who just want to "relax" you. If you ask for a deep tissue massage that tells them you REALLY need it..... not just for pampering.

I go to Bruce at Botanicals in Clayton on hwy 70 (before Dunkin Donuts) , I think he is great. I have high expectations for massage therapists since my sister is one back home. Bruce has worked on my sciatic nerve and I've been able to go for much longer durations without pain. Now for pure enjoyment he has a great Hot Stone Massage too... and he'll usually work in a few minutes on the sciatic nerve, he listens, is very pleasant and has great hands!

Thanks so much, but I forgot to mention that I'm not real comfortable with a male massage therapist. Please don't laugh and no, I'm not a prude! I just feel kind of funny about it.  So, are there any good females out there?

Thanks for your Post. The one I used is no longer doing massages. I need to setup a schedule since I hurt my back and also just because I love massages. I tease my parents all the time telling them that I know I am a Kennedy but was adopted by the parents I have. I love to be pampered.

There is a girl named Michelle that works at Healthquest. I have used her before and she does a good job. BTW, you do not have to be a member at Healthquest to get a massage although you do get a discount on the price if you are.

    Great Massage Therapist in Cary

I have a wonderful young woman who I have been going to every month now, for almost a year. In fact, I went just this morning. I have a couple medical issues and she has worked beautifully with me and my, "issues". PM me for more information ...
