Thanks for the reminder about Bingo. I had forgotten it was tonight until I read about it hear. We went tonight ... and as in the past, my son really enjoyed the event. I was the chunky lady chasing the baby around :) Both of my kids had a great time. My son got B-I-N-G-O twice so he was really excited.

I wonder how well a bingo hall would go in this area?

Don't know if the laws would get in the way of a real bingo hall. But it does make a fun fundraiser.

When I was growing up, the company my Mom worked for, Kimberly Clark, used to have regular Bingo games for the employees & their families. The games lasted a few hours and the prizes were monetary ($100, $50 or $10), large turkeys & hams, steaks or big garbage bags filled with paper products. My family always went home with a few prizes. I LOVED going to play bingo at Kimberly Clark. There was no drinking or smoking during the games and it was something that grandparents, parents & kids could all do together. It would be great if there was a "family" oriented Bingo Hall nearby ... but my son is happy with the occasional outing to WJHS for Bingo :)
