Folks, ordered ours almost a year ago. Never got 'em. Emailed using the DTV website to ask. Was told they had been sent, and could not be replaced, that it wasn't the DTV people's responsibility to make sure it got to us, and to check with the USPS. The cards they send out apparently have an expiration date. Does anyone have a card that they for which they have no use? We could use one, especially if the 2-17 date stays firm. TIA...
Good luck. I requested one weeks ago and got a message saying that I qualified but funds were used up. The news the other day said they were moving the date to June, but some stations may make the change sooner.
I wish you had posted this sooner. We had 1 coupon which we did not use, however, it expired on 1/14/09. I had a dickens of a time getting my hands on the one dtv receiver we were able to get. For weeks I would stop by places only to be told that their supply sold out within hours after receiving them. So once you have a coupon, it is no guarantee you can find a dtv receiver.
Lets take care of Hat6, but remember if you have extra coupons many churches, non-profits and other organizations could use them. Also check with Senior citzens inyour community (they might be cutting cable out of their budgets).
I have a small 5" screen black and white tv/radio/cd player which runs off of batteries or ac/dc. I use it in my office to keep me company. During power outages the tv comes in very handy to keep up with what's going on around us. In the future it will not receive a signal unless I have the dtv receiver.
Yep, cable is gone. And I saw where the Senate had pushed for the extension. Have been out job hunting, and wasn't sure if the House had agreed.... If there are others who are more needy, please think of them first. It's more of a convenience for us. Thanks in advance... H6 and crew

I went online two weeks ago and put in for it, told that I was on waiting list. Received two coupons in the mail today!!
