I wanted to rave about the Meguiar's Clay Bar Wax System. I have used a lot of car waxes in the past and I have found that the Meguiar's brand is the best by far. I purchased the Clay Bar system and used it on my classic car today and the car's finish looks like a sheet of glass. What an awesome job it does. It does require some elbow work to apply, but it is worth the effort!!!!!

Meguires is the stuff! I have had great success with the clay bar also. Could hardly walk the next day cause my back was killing me, but it will shine up some old paint.

Meguires initially had a crappy clay bar several years ago. It was way too gooey to be effective...even when properly used with a detailer spray. After a bad experience, I switched to Mother's and stuck with it. I will say, however, that from what I understand Meguires has improved it significantly though. I just buy Mother's now because I know it works well and its consistent.

Meguiars claybar yes wax no. If your a car enthusiast then you want a polymer like Zaino or Adams. They are 99.9% optically clear and never yellow like wax. They are durable and show car finish.......

meguiars has the best interior vinyl cleaner. Red bottle called Vinyl shine it is the best by far. It puts Armor all and that 2001 stuff to shame.

Also the leather cleaner is great...

:iagree: Meguiars cleaners and detailers are the BOMB!!!! They are not oily like Eagle One or Turtle Wax. I agree about the Vinyl Detailer I use it on the interior of my car and it leaves a nice deep shine but is not oily. also the Insane Tire Shine is so good that you can spray it on your tires, wait 15 mins and drive your ride and the tires have the wet look and the tire shine is not sprayed up all over the body panels. I got a Meguiars Brand paint style brush to brush in the tire shine and that even deepens the look even more !!!!!

polymer like Zaino or Adams. Where do you get these??? I never heard of them.

Monaco 177 another product that you may want to try is 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's suncreen for your car, it's the worlds most effective UV screening product. You can use it on rubber, vinyl, fiberglass, tires, plastic, leather and tonneau covers. I buy it at Boater's World. I have used it for over 7 years it's the best protection I have found.
It repels dust and bugs too. It's also great for visors, helmets and goggles.
For headlights and tail lights I use a wax made for lenses by Zymol. And any chrome I use Mother's.
I'm sure once you use Zaino's products, you'll never use anything else.

Do you still have to order Zaino or is there any local distributors? Several years ago when I was into Mustangs, Zaino was just getting to be the "in" thing. At the time, I was using Duragloss Wet, which is a pretty fair product in its own right.

I have not found a dist. in NC. So I order directly from them on the internet. It's really fast turn around. And they have some new products that are real time savers with great results.
