OK...his total average is a 92 - is that honor roll? Or do they do it different down here than the way they did it when I was in school? He had 4 A's, 1 B and 1 C. (that is if the SS grade is truly a 98, which is an A and not a B, I'm still waiting to hear from the teacher on that one)

 

OK. When I was in school, it went by your total average of all grades combines. Here it goes by just your letter grades? So no matter what your total average is, you can't have even 1 C? Is that what you're saying? Even though his overall average is a 92, because he has 1 C, he doesn't make honor roll?

 

A/B honor roll is all (only) A's and B's.

the 'average' is just last 9 weeks grade and this 9 weeks grade...they keep a running 'average' through out the year.

 

98 is a A

Yes, I know. But I didn't know if maybe it was supposed to be an 88 instead of a 98, that would be a B...this is what I wanted to make sure of. I didn't know what kind of typo it was. I haven't heard back from her yet. His grade in that class last time was an 82, or a C, so it would have gone up dramatically up to a 98. Possible, just want to verify!
