I don't go into the store in my pj's (hubby has a time or two, but wears his sneakers, but it was a run in and run out. but I have worn my pj's going to like McDonalds drive thru or a few times picking my daughter up from band practice, but I don't get out of the car.

Are you guys serious? I love mine! I have a pair in almost every color (knock offs, not real crocs). They really help my back pain when it kicks in.

I do admit they are ugly as sin but you can decorate them with jiblets.

I just remembered that hubby wore his #24 (go gordon!) pj britches to pick up DD from work one night. He's also worn them to a fire call more than once. When that pager goes off at 3:00 am you really don't care what you're wearing. He ran out of the house Saturday night to a call with NO SHOES ON.

Seabee, it's all good. I'm not picking on anyone, just trying to change the subject from politics to something else. :grouphug:

Girl, you soooo crazy. Have you ever tried on a pair? They are soooo comfortable. If you'd like I'll let you borrow my lime green pair . . or even my purple pair.

Yeah, mine are knock-offs, too. 6 bucks at Food Lion, I think. But I usually don't wear shoes in the house, so I just slip into them to go outside, I never actually wear them off my property.

speaking of going to fire calls looking funny......when i was a kid i used to always brush and "fix" my dad's hair. One night I was putting all my little colorful hairbows in his hair when the pagers went off. I don't think those firemen ever let him live that one down.

I think I have 6 pairs of crocs now...but none of them are the clog style. Mine are all summer flip-flop or sandels, I think those are cute, and I can wear them to work and not worry about ruining my good summer shoes here. I don't like the clog style ones, and have tried them on and didn't think they were that comfortable. But the last 2 summers, I've lived at work in the flip flop or criss-cross crocs. Its a bad thing that they've put a Crocs outlet store down in Smithfield. I got 2 pairs for less than I paid for one last summer, good for my checkbook...but bad for the addiciton!

KB... do ya still luv me!? :jester:

As to the original post, I agree with Michelle.

This "problem" with dress is about having some respect for yourself, as well as others.

Would you wear your pajamas to church? If not, why not?

The problem with this area is that it is in Johnston County, the laughing stock of the Triangle. Why? It is full of REDNECKS! This is redneck behavior.

Good they were here first, don't come in trying to change them. God could care less what people wear to church to a point as long as their going.
