OK ya'll I gotta buy 4 new tires for my Titan truck..... Who has good deals and who will not bend you over around here? I love to stay local to help our community if possible. Thanks! M
Redd's Tires corner of 42 and 50 (behind the Mark Williams car dealership) and a fitting place for you to do business.
Clayton Tire. Might not be the cheapest, but it won't be higher by much and they do a great job. I am extremely picky about how well the tires are balanced and I've had no issues since I started using them. Stay away from Sam's Club. Never had anything but trouble from there.
I recently purchased a set of michelin's for my daughter's car from tirerack.com on sale for $99 each. They ship them to someone locally for installation which in my case happened to be Clayton Tire. And I just had to pay Clayton Tire for the installation. It ended up being a better deal than I could find locally calling around for quotes.
Got a full set at Pep Boys in Garner. They had buy three get the fourth free. After getting the warranty, I paid close to $400.00 for four tires.
My husband does a lot of price shopping for tires and he has never found anyone who could beat the prices at the shop located near the corner of 42/50 - Tri County Tires. If you are heading towards Garner on 50 it's the place with all the motorcycles out front. When price shopping we were looking for the best prices on good Tires - not the cheapest manufactures - but the cheapest prices on the good quality e-rated brands. We've used Tri County many times. We did have a problem once, a manufactures defect, Tri County replaced the tire immediately free of charge. We've been very happy with them.
We just went to Evan's Tire in Smithfield, off Brightleaf and Market St. We had a tire fixed and other stuff done to our vehicle. We really liked them. They were super friendly, called us the next day to make sure we were happy with their service and mailed us a packet with all kinds of goodies!
There's a tire place in downtown Benson that I have always gotten great deals from. The guy used to run Tri-city at 42/50, I think. I will see if my DH knows the name of it.
Tri-County Tire at 42/50. I've known 1 of the owners for years now. He's an honest guy. Got my last set of Michelin tires from him. My DD got her last set of tires from him too. 779-1038 I believe, is the phone number. I just called him the other day when I had a nail in my tire while shopping at Lowes Foods. :x
hey- call around for an exact quote first. .... i did this wirth one of the mentions stores and the guy quoted me a really good price. I wrote down his name and just about everything he said. when I got to the store later that SAME DAY a man told me that it was the wrong price. I whipped out my paper and showed him what i was quoted. the manager was decent enough to honor the quoted price and had a fit with the man who told me the lower price. needless to say I have 4 really cool tires on a Saturn.
Redd's Tires I brought my work van to Redd's tires and got 2 really nice tires mounted and balanced for under $80.00!!!!! Granted this place doesn't look like much but, the people there were very nice and did a great job!!!! I would return there anytime to get tires!!!!!!!!!! I didn't see Redd Foxx there but hey, still a good place to get the rubber to the road!!!!!
Had two tires on our Saturn SL2 placed today at Murray's in Raleigh. Two good tires, mounted and balanced..54 bucks and change. Took all of 45 minutes.
We have used Colony Tine on 401 in Garner. We chose the tire we wanted and they had the best price. The service was quick and friendly. We have actually bought 10 tires from them in the last year and had no problems and feel that we got fair prices.
i highly recommend and use lewis brothers on main street in clayton, he has always been the best on prices for me and DW
