I just spilled Mtn. Dew in it. Can it be rinsed out?

Ugh, I don't know girl. I'd probably take it outside, turn it upside down and let it dry. Then get a can of compressed air to clean it. I wouldn't risk pouring water in it to rinse it.

Your keys will probably start sticking. If you need another one pm me. (Not asking for money) That is for the curious.

Ask Tassy, I think she ruined 2 keyboards this week by spitting her drink on them

It was all your fault! I was able to just dry off the keys, I don't think they were totally soaked. :jester:

mountain dew is sticky and I would be willing to bet that those keys will forever stick. I'd go get another from the walmarts.

actually I have two extra I think, you could have one, if you wanted.

nsane, you can try letting it dry out then cleaning it with rubbing alcohol on cotton swabs and cotton balls. Don't saturate it, but use them to wipe everything sticky down, it will clean it up and evaporate without hurting it. Let it dry really well before you plug it back in though. We've saved a few electronics around here like that.

Caveat: This is what has worked for us, your mileage may vary and I take no personal responsibility. :jester:
