Did anyone have issues with the two dogs running up Cleveland School Road this morning. A white pit bull and brown doberman? Almost caused a wreck. Plus, I wonder how safe it is for these two dogs to be running free over at West View.

I have seen then and almost wrecked trying not to hit the brown one. I have no idea where they live. If they have a home.

their owner are the ones that should be in the middle of the road - they are too stupid to do anything else.

I was just coming down Hwy 50 right before Stephensons BBQ and there was a BEAUTIFUL Golden Retreiver in the middle of the road that almost got hit by an oncoming car. I tried to stop but it ran further down the road :(

It makes me wonder why certain individuals own pets...I treat my dog and cat like they are my babies. I love them! How can people just abandon or let their animals "roam?"

Unless you see them in that area all the time....maybe they're out and the owners are away at work and don't know that they're loose?

I have seen them out several times. They were beside the road the other day eating a dead deer. Poor Dogs

so sad, but maybe they really are just getting out when the folks are at work or maybe the folks are oldtimers that still believe in letting dogs run free like they did when i was growing up - and no, my dogs do not, i spent $7k building a fence to insure that did not happen.

Dogs and cats run free and loose out in the country. The Cleveland area is not a town, so you can't expect those kind of regulations to be passed or enforced by Johnston County.

People who don't contain their animals, should have them taken away from them.
