OMG! I am so sorry hon. I have had my Gall Bladder removed, trust me you don't need it. It is one less thing to act up from losing weight, you will be better off without it.
    Congrats on your weight loss!
    That rocks8)
We will miss you on Saturday, but HEY if you can do something like that and get PAID for it, no brainer right?

I tried something new tonight and loved it. I made spaghetti and instead of using regular noodles I used Barilla whole grain noodles and they were great! DD and I could NOT taste the difference.

It's for my mom ( of course I need to loose weight as well), she has done weight watches before, so she asked me for the point list. So I'm guessing it's for the food, cause she knows what she weighs. Do you know where she can get those books?

Sheri, tell her to check ebay. I see them on there all the time.

How did everyone do today? I gained .6 AGAIN. I know why though, it's all thanks to Aunt Flow :banghead:

I knew I'd gained more weight ... but was just too ashamed to step on the scale until today. Sadly, I weigh exactly the same as I did the night before I gave birth to baby girl 21 months ago. I am determined that I HAVE to lose weight before her 2nd birthday!!! This probably isn't the best way to go about it ... but at least it's a start. Tonight I ordered a months worth of food from Nutrisystem. I tried Nutrisystem many, many years ago and it seemed to get me started on losing weight quickly. As soon as I reach a plateau, I plan to rejoin weight watchers. My son just got his study materials for scuba tonight & baby girl will be old enough to ride in a boat this summer. This means that I probably won't be able to avoid a bathing suit this year because both kids love the water & I'm sure the family will be spending many weekends at the lake & beach this year. I need to lose a LOT of weight in order to fit my big hiney into a swim suit ... even one with one of those built on skirts. Wish me luck!!!

Ladies..and for those men in this boat, as well.

We didn't gain all this overnight, and we aren't gonna shed them overnight. And, if we want to keep it off, we have to modify more than a caloric imbalance - we have to modify our lifestyles. It shouldn't be a complete rejection of those enjoyments. We have to do a better job of choosing..this over that, and understanding that if we can control portion size and carb intake, it will begin to change.

If you feel badly about the frame you're carrying, don't let it turn into a self loathing. That brings on a negative feedback loop. And we know how destructive negative reinforcement can be. Other than at Parris Island, it jsut doesn't work.

If you falter, you haven't fallen. be honest and upfront about it, and make corrections, not excuses.

    If you need anything...holler...

and...success to ya. I know you can do it.

Use that brand all the time - love it! I can't tell any diff - but then, I like whole wheat stuff in general (bread, rolls, etc). Ronzoni Smart Taste is also good and has a more 'white' pasta taste and has added fiber.

Yep, a few yrs ago our church did the Weigh Down program and about 5 ladies from the group all had to have their gall bladders removed! Seems it has something to do with processing of fats, I think?

I didn't go to WW this week because ever since I fell last Sunday I have been in some serious pain. First it was my knee and now it's my hip/butt cheek/back. I can't hardly walk. I'm going to the doc tomorrow at noon to get some sort of relief.

Thanks for the encouragement Hat, you are right in everything you said. Good luck to all and I wish you all a week of big weight loses.

Peekaboo, that's WONDERFUL!!! I almost stayed for that meeting, too, just to see you and Debbie and everyone! I wish I had, now! I would have cheered the loudest for you! I'm so happy for you!!!

I've been doing relatively good ... down 34.4 since I started WW... right about 50 since my wedding last year ... except for last week, I was up FOUR. All I could do was laugh it off - no sense stressing about it. My down fall was 'time of month' hormones combined with stress eating, and I was aware of it. Trying to get back on track this week.

    Thanks girls....

I hear you about stress eating. You are doing great sweetie! Don't look at the numbers, wear blinders and keep looking straight forward, everything else will fall into place at it's own pace.

Went to the doc today and I have sciatica (sp). He put me on a prednozone pack which I understand will make me very hungry. Oh well, I'll just eat oranges and rice cakes!

It can also make you retain a lot of water, so drink a lot of it.
Oddly enough that makes your kidneys flush it all out.
My Dh has sciatica attacks. Very painful. I feel for you sweetie.:grouphug:
Hang in there babe, you will do just fine!
