yup. delivery in the area for that price...

it's not that red clay mess that i can't grow anything in...i'm from the coast...any type of dirt that is black is called topsoil..

i beg to differ, fill dirt is as you say just dirt dug up from the ground, top soil is dirt that is screened and cleaned and used for planting etc. Not arguing with ya, just explaining how it is sold.

I have to differ with both of you. Topsoil is the top few inches of soil, containing organic matter. When you buy topsoil, usually it is screened, but if the seller doesn't specify, it doesn't have to be. If you dig below the first few inches, even if the soil is black, it is not topsoil.

Top soil can be deeper than 2" it could be 12" deep.

ok KDs, i was referring to how it is sold around here, if you order topsoil from anyone and it is delivered with rocks and etc you can pretty much guarantee it is coming back to ya - when i worked for the Nursery and we sold topsoil and filldirt, topsoil was always screened and cleaned before it left the shop - filldirt not.

Look you want to go round and round today too..:jester::jester: a few inches is just that. I stated it could go deeper than that.. on average its 2"-6" but can go deeper based on the organic content regardless of wiseguy which to be honest I didn't check the link because I don't need too.

wow arguing over dirt,:boxing: now i think i seen it all what next the different types of poop in your childs diaper? LOL:lol: seriously folks just lighten up a bit, i belive the comment was made about it being filtered and stuff was ment to be helpfull, so the person doesnt think he or she is getting quality topsoil when they might be getting fill decent or not, Buyer beware.
Have a good day Yall ::tossles the hair on their little heads:: play nicely!:jester:
