    Tan female about 50 lbs
Cross between lab and german shepherd (we think)
    Has a kinda crinkly face
She is spayed and is about 1.5-2 years old
Got out of her back yard near the intersection of Cleveland School, Polenta, and Raleigh Roads, between Lassiter and Hunting Lodge subdivisions
She wriggled out of her leash and collar, so she is bare. She does have a microchip.

    Her name is Cassidy.

We looked for her tonight - saw 4 deer, 1 fox, and something black that I'm not sure how to identify - but no Cass.

Please let us know if you spot her or are able to catch her. She has always been friendly (no bites) but is definitely a runner.

    Thanks in advance!

check over by the C3 area.

My field and yard always seemed to be a magnet for lost animals. I am across the street from C3. Look in that area and call her name.

Ask the lady in the brick house if you can go down that dirt drive and look for her. She is a big dog lover too.

Did you check with the lady that has the mobile home right beside Lassiter Farms? The one w/the horses, when we lived over there we had a runner that we were fostering, and she would always end up over there. Hope you find her!

    GOOD NEWS!!

Cassidy has been found! She was over by Polenta/Matthews...she had gotten pretty far.

Thanks so much to a fellow 40-42er for taking Cassidy into your home last night and keeping her warm and safe, and for going above and beyond to try to track her family down, including getting her microchip scanned. We appreciate it so much!!

Thanks to everyone for the supportive thoughts! 4042.com rocks!

One other thing we learned from all this:

A microchip is a good thing, but you must keep your contact info up to date. It doesn't do any good if they can't find you!
