When I called this morning and talked to the machine it said the problem was fixed but mine still wasn't working. That's when I posted here. I called back and the machine transferred me to a different department that told me they were working on the problem. It's fixed now. Last week I had a problem with the phone and internet. Don't know what's been going on lately.
I had problems with Gmail this morning, but that cleared up eventually. Then I had to reset the internet connection because my monitor said there was no "video input" (whatever that means). This Time Warner crap has got to stop; every time we get a bill it is a few $s more. Interesting how they offered lower rates to new customers, yet offer no relief to their existing customers. For what I must pay them every month, you would think it should work ALL THE TIME. Last month, I paid my TW bill through my bank's billpay, as I have been doing for the past 8 months. My payment was returned, so I called. They informed me I sent payment to a non-existent account number. Interesting, since I paid to the SAME ACCOUNT number the 7 previous months, and they received all those payments. I was told they NEVER change their account numbers; the problem must be on my end, with the Billpay service. After about 20 minutes on the phone with the bank and TW in a 3-way conversation, we thought we came to a solution: different account number, try again. Next month came, and my payment was returned AGAIN. Hm...maybe they don't want my money. I was assured by the manager at TW that he would call me when they figure out what happened. No one ever called me. Figures. Has anyone else been given this kind of - ahem - service? Just wondering...
