I haven't watched much local news today but am surprised at your Post. Surely with the warm weather we have had the snow will not stick. If school closes due to this I know my teen will very upset because Spring Break is already cut into by the last snow. Keep updating, if you get a chance, so that we will know. I will also look at the local weather. Thanks so much, Sherry
I heard on the radio Friday that we could have snow showers on Monday. Of course we know it won't stick. Guess that's why he said snow showers. Go figure......
George Carlin would have a quick comeback on "snow showers". I miss him for that and other reasons. Sherry
tomorrow night/Mon morning: www.wral.com A winter storm watch from the National Weather Service predicts that by Monday morning, 3 to 5 inches of snow could have fallen on central North Carolina, along and west of the Interstate 95/U.S. Highway 1 corridor.
The models are showing between 5 and 10 inches. But, wral says it will definitely snow, but the direction it takes, will deteremine the amount.
Although I love snow I really hope that if it does it does not stick. In the industry I am in if it snows it puts us SOOOO far behind!!!!!!!
Any day lost from snow comes from Spring Break....down to M, T, W now....and would probably lose Wednesday..

Chances are that even if we just get a little bit of snow, schools will be closed. Mine are already going to 'miss' two days of school because we had already planned (and paid for) a trip that week. In talking to the principal and teachers, Polenta is expecting that a lot of kids will be out of school those days.
Well, I'm not unhappy the media is starting to get people excited about the possible snow. My daughter just got called in to work an all day shift at the grocery store tomorrow since they anticipate everyone bombarding them for bread, milk, hot chocolate etc. So thanks Mike Maze- you just boosted my daughter's income! LOL!
Ice on power lines and trees is horrible. Make it go away! I say take the days away from the end of school instead. Sherry
Thank god I'm not working today! :hurray: I know they are going to be busy cause we were slammed yesterday at work.
