they shouldn't be too bad tomorrow. they were dry this afternoon, so I am thinking the normal bridges and overpasses being slick spots and maybe some secondary roads.

Why would I not be happy? Common sense decisions made in an appropriate time frame. What's not to like?8)

I am hearing that a bus may have slid off Amelia Ch. Rd today. No details. Any info? Hopefully, no one was injured. Imagine how bad it could have been.

The driver was coming out of Clayton Middle School. She cut it too close to the edge to avoid oncoming traffic coming around the curve, and she slid sideways.

The teen rode with someone who had a four wheel drive truck this morning and they left early because of the roads. 42 East had a tree down so they had to take alternate routes plus they spun out a few times. They arrived a little late and were counted as tardy. Makes me mad that they counted those a little late tardy with the roads as they were.

I'm sending a note in tomorrow about it and a note in case they arrive late tomorrow. Hope the school waives the tardy. Seems as though they would cut a little slack on these type of road conditions.

While I'm not condoning the tardy. I'm gonna say that more than likely that was due to a inexperienced driver, due to the lack of driver education that is often found now days.

That and the mentallity that just because a vehicile is 4x4 that makes it safe.
