No offense intended for any of the guys! Maybe we'll have to do another 4042 lunch sometime soon. Dh is out of town that weekend, taking the kiddo with him, so I am going to kick up my heels a little, without getting myself in trouble. :jester:

ok, now i am really confused with the prices quoted, i stopped again tonite on the way home in Cary at a convenience store, same one actually and the price increase had taken place, $3.49 a pack instead of $3.29:confused: where are these huge increases so i know not to go there.

Perdue's budget would raise tobacco, alcohol taxes

RALEIGH, N.C. — Gov. Beverly Perdue's budget proposal released Tuesday seeks a $1-per-pack increase in North Carolina's cigarette tax and higher alcohol taxes to help narrow the state's $3.4 billion budget gap for the coming year.
Perdue's proposal would increase the cigarette tax from 35 cents per pack to $1.35 and seek a 5 percent tax surcharge on alcohol, according to Perdue's two-year budget.

hmmm, good idea. we could run a 'liquor house' out there where we stay....hehehehehe, like they used to back when I was girl, you could go to this old ladies house and pay her $1 a shot....of moonshine, or some kind of whiskey.....lights were always on at her house.
