The lady from Panther Branch will call you, she just sometimes takes a while. I left her a message and a couple of days later talked with her. However, You can't beat there rental prices, if I am remembering correctly $125.00 for the entire day. And they have everything you need, tables, chairs, oven, fridge, microwave, the works. All they ask is that you leave it clean, like you found it. I will tell you, she is pretty full on weekends, I know May is booked, I got one of the last weekend dates in May. Panther branch is probably the cheapest around. In fact the lady that takes the reservations is my husbands aunt. We rented Heather Hills clubhouse for my reception because panther branch was already reserved. (and we called 4 months in advance). The clubhouse is $250 during the week and $800 for Saturday. Way too much!
Pleasant Grove Community Building, off hwy 210 heading towards Angier on the right.....you can google it, and get the number.
there is a Garner Country Club on Old Stage Rd and there is a rental building on 210 that is smaller but same as Panther Branch b/c we rented it for my daughters 16th b'day party but that was about 12 years ago............... so...... I don't have the contact info...... sorry
If you're referring to the one just past the giant strawberry, don't get too excited. Their "party" room isn't very attractive, and may be too small, although it does have a full kitchen off of if and the bar area is cute.
Try the Ag building on 21, they charge about $100/hour, nice area. the lady you need to talk to is Kasye Ward, her number is 989-5479.
have you tried their wine? have they been there long enough to grow grapes to make wine???? we often ponder that place when we drive by!
My Husband and I did stop in when they first opened and did the wine tasting and took a tour. I'm not a big wine drinker but some of the wine was kind of good. Oh and I remembered the name Adam's Vineyards.
Fire Department? I know West Johnston Fire Department rents their gathering space. I have been to family gatherings as well as kids birthday parties there. You may want to give them a call. Also, Victoria Pond Pool has a clubhouse they used to rent out. I know the health dept. closed the pool part down last summer...not sure if they have everything straight now!! Good Luck!
Also try the Mccullers ruritan building off 1010 near hwy 401. I actually had them reserved for my reception but then canceled. The building is not as open as Panther Branch but they were pretty cheap. The only thing is you have to be sponsored by a member. I didn't know anyone there but I sent an email to someone on their website and he said he would sponsor me. i can't find the website right now but i know there was one.
