I laid on the couch all day and it was GREAT! Sometimes you need those days, just to do nothing, didn't even shower! :lol:

Went to bed @ 10 and slept till 9.

Ahhhhh .... well rested!

Time for coffee & a ham, turkey & cheese omlet AND BACON!!!! :hurray:

not gonna start it with you.....everyone has a different view of who did/does what and we clearly will never see eye to eye on that! besides......things written on a screen are not always clear....people interpret things differently! someone may think they are being talked about when they are not even a thought! some folks need to get over themseleves b/c they are NOT the topic of every conversation!

Lord, I haven't heard that one in YEARS. Isn't it funny how things from your childhood never get old? I'm sure our parents and grandparents probably used to sing that silly song.

The funniest thing happened to me today. I am going to the Hurricanes Casino Night fundraiser at the RBC Center tomorrow night so I went to the mall to find a fancy dress to wear. I had put one on and was out looking in the big mirror in the main part of the dressing room and a lady said "what a gorgeous dress. is that for prom?" I told her no and just an event but she said I'd knock them dead anyway so that's the one I bought. :lol:8)

 

Oh geez, I feel old now! Heck, I didn't even get carded buying wine yesterday. I'm over the hill apparently!

That's what's funny and maybe it was just a disinterested salesperson, but there have been a couple times when I haven't been carded either so I can't look THAT young. I was still tickled by it anyway. Bless that lady's heart.

 

If somebody had said that to me I would have taken them out and bought them lunch!

I racked up at the library sale this morning. I filled up a Lowe's Foods paper grocery bag with 18 books, mostly hardcover, for $10. What a bargain! Most of them were contemporary fiction too. :hurray::hurray::hurray: And of course, another cookbook to add to my bulging collection.

Note to self: I need to go buy a bookshelf, I have them tucked everywhere including under the bed.
