Does anyone know of any places around Johnston County to go horseback riding with kids?

    Thanks!

There is a new little place that I pass each day on the way home and I can't remember where it is!!! It's got to either be on Hwy. 50 between Garner and Don Lee's store or on Mt. Pleasant Rd. I want to say it is near Redd's Tires at the corner of 50/42 but I might be wrong. I'll try to look for it today and post tomorrow.

I hate being old and forgetful!

Theres a place at the corner of Cleveland school Rd and Cornwallis that does kid rides, trail riding, etc. Never been there, just see the signs everyday.

My daughter has English style riding lessons. She goes to Dragon Fly Stables, on Raleigh Rd. near the HS. She loves it. Let me know if you need any information on it.

Seems most places in the Triangle area charge $30 or more an hour for trail rides ... ouch for the family budget. It's a little bit of a drive but at Fort Bragg (in Fayetteville) civilians can ride for $13 an hour. Children must be age 8 or older.

Do they have a website? My daughter was riding at McNair and although we liked it there, it got too expensive and too far to drive. I would love to find her a closer place. I would appreciate any information.
    Thanks,
    Cathy
