I am reminded of the saying, "The more you stir umm...stuff, the more it stinks" - I'm done with this thread...so not worth it.

To a degree yes. Every argument on earth demands the devil's advocate. Without him, people senselessly type along not truly thinking about what they believe and why they believe it.

Do you have a link to the Disney forum by chance?

Indeed! If a person can stomach the stench....why not hang around? It's raining outside.......what better way to unwind?

    Also worth noting...........

The duration of some of you dear folks........the calculation of "date joined" multiplied so that approximate 'posts per day' is shown.

I would have to suspect some of the people here are consistently monitoring this forum while they are getting paid to perform a job......a possibility maybe?

My goodness, internet forums seem to be a breeding ground for failing business.

I happen to post a few times a year. I'm just curious. How many of your employers know you folks steadily type away on internet forums during the day.......

    ;)

This one always strikes a chord with the justifiers and self righteous.

    :)

I just wanted to express my sadness about the dog. :( I think I tend to love dogs more than most of my co-workers and I could never do what this person had done.

I also wanted to extend my thankfulness about the person that tried to help the dog. I would have done the same thing even if there are consequences to that. I actually saw a beagle by my house a few months ago and tried to catch him but he was actually too fast for me...which is pretty funny because he was a fat beagle!!

Resisting the urge is a futile effort.

I have nothing to apologize for or defend. Sorry to bust your bubble there. 8)

I would guess that one's post count would depend on how many different names one has used on a particular forum or discussion group.

The urge I am referring to is the urge to respond. Resistance to that urge may prove futile.
    Good luck.

You raise a good point........so in theory, some of these folks could be posting under multiple names.

That's even worse. So instead of a possible few posts per day they could be doing scores of posts per day many days of the year.

No wonder our economy is tanking.
