You just need to go ahead and tell it.........either way someone is going to get hurt

Do you think the person would believe you if you did tell them?

If my husband were to cheat on me, I would want to know. I would be SO MAD at the people who did know and didn't tell it!

If it were a close friend, I would ask her to lunch and tell her.

If it were someone who wasn't a very close friend, I'd send her a certified letter, or something annonymus.

Does the other cheater have money? Make sure to educate your friend on the Alienation of Affection law. ;)

No, other person is not a cheater. He/She did not realize that the cheater was married with kids. Like I said . . . cheater is a habitual liar.

While it might hurt for her to hear it - hearing it from a friend is much easier than hearing it from an acquaintance. Also, eventually, she will very likely find out - if you don't speak up now, how do you justify keeping your mouth shut later when she asks if you had any idea of her hubbys affair?

Even with a child involved, especially with one involved, she deserves to know. This guy is probably spending money they could put to use for their child, on some ho. . .even if it's just drinks - it all adds up. Besides, the guy is actually cheating on both of them - they are a family and if I did the math correct - the guy KNEW he was going to have a child before he got married - so no excuse for him - no one held a gun to his head.

Tell her - I would sit her down somewhere quiet and alone (restaurants are great if you want to avoid a fight with someone, but not great if you know the other person may very well cry.)

As for talking to the husband - BS - he'll only try to hide it better, scaring him isn't going to change his ways - not if looking into the eyes of his wife and kid don't already do that.

:iagree: The cheater is never going to change. This person has been a loser all of their life and I don't see it changing at all.

The cheatee is going to be told (by another family member, not me) very very soon. It's so sad to see a family break up because someone couldn't control themself.

BTW - this brought up a memory from long ago -

I used to be sort of like a piece of the furniture in a couple of the local beach bars where I grew up. About 50% of the patrons were locals, so if we didn't "know" each other, we at least had seen them around to be familiar with who they hung with etc.

There was this guy who had married a girl I went to high school with, she was going to night school and he was hitting the bars - picking up women. He was pretty shameless and I guess he figured no one would say anything. Well, no one actually did - but what they did was priceless!

Keep in mind back then photocopies were only easy to come by in B and W and there were no PC's - but someone got his picture and made photocopies of it - they weren't crystal clear, but they were un-mistakenly him. Above his name was the word "WATCH OUT" Under the pic was his name and something like "For not only cheating on his wife, but for sharing a case of crabs!"

There was one of them hung with tape on the ladies room mirror as well as on the outside of a couple stall doors. A friend told me one of the other clubs sported the same pin-ups. I didn't see the others, but the ones in my regular haunt remained up for weeks before they were taken down.
