Carpe diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace (See "Source" section below). It is popularly translated as "seize the day". The general definition of carpe is "pick, pluck, pluck off, gather" as in plucking or picking a rose or apple, although Horace uses the word in the sense of "enjoy, make use of, seize." Thanks for posting! I love this place, too!! Have you ever tried the Peppermint Milkshakes? I wish they had them year round. Candy Cane and Chocolate...YUMMAY!
I have tried the Peppermint, and it's great, too. Chocolate is my favorite, though. Wish I could buy some stock in the company.
Did you know that you can get breakfast for dinner on Wednesday nights now through April?! I love the minis.
As always, love your Post. Not only can we relate to the lyrics I remember the original song that tune came from. What a hoot! Sherry
Glad to see you Posting on here, a little more, recently. I take your gardening advise step by step so don't you go and leave. I love most everything that Chick-fil-A makes. At least once a month we order a chicken salad tray from them and some good ole' carrot and raisin salad. The teen usually goes for a Chicken Caesar wrap when when eat at the restaurant with those great waffle fries. I'm still into the same, regular chicken sandwich with waffle fries.....all the grease I can get.:lol: Sherry P.S. Still planning on catching up with Alice, we've just had a bunch going on.
What church? And what time? Not sure if we can make it or not as the teen and I have both had the virus going around but I sure would love to hear her. Sherry
