My left arm is killing me!!!! I dislocated my elbow on Saturday and cannot see Orthopedic Doctor till tomorrow. E.R. gave me oxycodone but these pills give me bad headaches. Should I remove the Ace bandage and attempt to move the arm? Just wondering. Hard to type using only right hand, fingers become tired quickly!!!!

 

I think I got up a little before 10.... and I tried to go back to sleep, but just couldn't make it happen. :cheers:

 

OUCH! I've never dislocated anything so I'm no help... but I feel for ya..

 

I wouldn't do anything unless doc says so. You may make something worse and you don't want that. Maybe call and see if you can talk to a nurse and get some advice on what you can do.

I was able to take off sling and kind of move arm around a little while in the splint. That did help with discomfort level somewhat Elbow is still REALLY tender though. I will call the E.R. and see what they say. Do not ever dislocate any bones, it is extremely painful!!!!!
