I can't imagine someone walking in and shooting at these folks. One of the victims was 98 years old???
I often wonder what this world is coming to with all this sensless violence! Kudos to the bravery of the young officer who took down the suspect with a single shot to the chest and prevented further blood shed - also sustaining a wound in the process.

I saw his dad being interviewed on the news and he was very composed. He was very very proud of what his son did and the lives that he saved (as he should be).
The article I read said the dad of the nurse counted the gunshot wounds himself...how horrible. If 1 gunshot wound wasn't enough to kill someone, imaging counting 27 on a loved one. So sad for all involved and thoughts and prayers go out to all the families. :cry:
I agree, he needs to get exactly what he gave. And let him have a few minutes to think about what is happening to him. My heart goes out to the families of the folks that he took their lives.
I went and saw my grandma in K-Dale today. Shes in a nursing home/rest home. She's all good. I walk in ... "Heeeeeeyyyyyyy Sandy" We laughed, and had a great time! In the event THAT happened @ my g-ma's place ... someone from this board would get a phone call ... from JAIL! :x
yeah it sucks, here we are paying for this scumbag to sit in prison getting medical attention and then trial... kudos to the officer... :cheers:but please next time use one more shot to the head... save us all the crap that will now be re-lived for quite sometime to come now...
