Twice now in the last 30 minutes our power has gone out (neighbors' power did as well). Anyone else having problems (we are off Corbett Road, off of Amelia Church)
Yep... we are in the subdivision off Amelia Church Rd. (behind Amelia Church) and we've lost power twice as well, and a few flashes. DH is trying to cook a new chilli recipe for dinner and this is going to drive him insane if it goes out again!
I know what you mean - I've been trying to get dinner done; one more time and it's sandwiches tonight. Between dinner and laundry its been a losing battle.
hey dgsatman, ya gonna think about opening back up our old haunt if they pass the no smoking thing, please please please
I got the spices! Have not lost power or seen it flicker one bit, here. I will admit....when I saw the post, I thought to myself.."why in the world would anyone ask that of anyone if their power was out? Would their computer be off if the power is out?" Just a thought...........
We lost it THREE TIMES tonight at West Clayton. The first time it stayed off for about 7 minutes. The other two times were just a minute or so. The library gets REALLY dark without any lights!
Yep ~ live in same subdivision as Tassy and my daughter had a fit! She was on the phone (her phone is cordless) and we lost power and she lost her phone call. Not like she hadn't already been on the phone for 1 1/2 hours! I was working on my website and when it came back on, I had lost my session and had to retype everything I had already did! Very frustrating! Then I wised up and the last time it did it, I copied everything and then all I had to do was paste it back where it was suppose to go. Duh!!!! Nothing like trying to do 5 things at one time and not thinking straight.
...and here I thought that when I mentioned that we lost power twice in 30 minutes that it was going to be obvious to people that I posted when the electric came back on
well its obvious around here that obviously you don't know that obvious doesn't always come into play here. :jester::jester: Which is obvious by now.
