My car is Going to be in a commercial

My car will be featured in a new commercial for Sheets Gas Station. Here are some shots of the shoot Tuesday night in Burlington N.C. The commercial should be coming out in about a month.

Are they paying you? That would make it even sweeter since I know that you have been out of commission with your injury and can't work. Still fun either way!

 

Yes I did get paid but not much. It was more for the novelty of it.

 

Are you going to be in it?

It would be kinda cool if you could do a burnout or something:lol:

 

No, they would not let me. The person in the car is a paid actor.

Well it's kinda cool because the car was all remaining from the fire and my wife bought it for me for a b-day gift 9 yrs ago and I have restored it myself, and I will pass it on to my daughter when she gets older(Not for her 1st car though) and I have this as some documentation that it was used as a picture car.

and no, it wasn't next to the Six Flags. OR hey, maybe a Sheets/Six Flags Combo! Like the Hess/Krispy Kreme!

 

My brother had a 1968 Chysler Newport, pretty plain looking, but it was used in a street scene from Rudy.

How did this come about? Just wondering how your car was picked out for this commercial

 

Saw a posting on Craigslist where they were looking for a Muscle Car to do a shoot. I responded with 3 pics of my vehicle and waited. Next day I was called and they said that they picked my car from 25 or so responses. I was surprised because I never thought my vehicle would be picked, so I drove out to Burlington N.C. last Tuesday night for the shoot.

 

Hey, I have seen this car Up close and in person.
This is one Heck of a car. Yea I drueld some, wipped my chin, Got the quivers, and then the Flashbacks of the good ole days. when cars were ment to be something.
Monaco, it is a Great car and you have done it well.
