Actually there has been some good info on threads if you search for divorce lawyer. Some folks have even done it themselves and with no kids involved it will be much easier. If you know ahead of time what you want divided etc. it will not take much. Don't let yourself get scammed. Truly, you should look into doing it yourself if you can. Check out rosen.com. I've never been divorced, but I worked in a family law office and now what goes into it.
I used Jonathan Breeden for my separation---needed to do divorce from bed and board and we have children. However, I'm doing the divorce part on my own because everything was taken care of during the separation---division of property, etc. I would retain him again for my divorce if I had the money!!!!!
I recommend Johnathan Breeden as well, I have not used him for legal services but he has a great reputation.

Jonathan is a really good guy. I'm not sure what you feel is reasonable, but paying upfront does hurt a bit.
