Coca-Cola 600 in May... Anyone here going OR not going and have a 4 pk of tickets?? That's NASCAR for those that may not know :lol:
We are going. Lowes Motor Speedway still has lots of tickets available. Since NASCAR has introduced that SUCKY Car of Tomorrow.....NASCAR cannot sell out any event. They even could not sell out Bristol...and they used to call that the "Toughest Ticket in Nascar." Nasar blames low ticket sales on the economy....but I think its because racing sucks lately!!! But we are going to watch sucky racing at Charlotte and we are going to Talladega in a couple of weeks!
If you have time, swing by the 600 Festival/Food Lion Speed Street in downtown Charlotte. My sister and I went a couple of years ag just for the festival; we didn't go to the race. We ahd a great time, saw lots of drivers and some great concerts, all for free! I won;t be going there this year, but my sis did win us tickets to the Saturday race at Darlington Mother's Day weekend. It will be my first race. She is in a drawing for the big prize (tickets to the Sundya race, use of a camper in the infield for the weekend, etc). Maybe she'll win that; she's pretty darn lucky. She won us a trip to NYC to the Grammy Awards a few years back!
been there done that at least a dozen times.....can't stand the MTV style NASCAR has adopted plus the traffic is awful.
Watching at home, don't have to fight horrible traffic, get beer spilled on me, or spend the big bucks!
Cool Melynda....I'll be on the lookout for them. Hope they are not Gordon fans.....if so I'll have to give them a hard time.....that's what I do....Can't help it!
