ARRGGGHHHH!!!!! Last weekend I finally got around to stopping off at their bill pay office up by lowes foods on 70. I told them I needed someone to come out to check my signal to my dvr. That ever since I got the service channels come in pixelated. A friend of mine who lives two miles from me said she had the same issue and that they had to go and run new cable under her home. Also I became a Nielson Rating home and they said the same thing. The cable under my home is 15 years old, with the exception of the guest bedroom which is 9 years old (no tv hooked up to it) I could have the same channel on in the living room, office and masterbedroom and only the living room tv with the DVR pixelizes. Supposedly last weekend there was a problem in the area that got resolved. And they turned around and canceled my work order. Though when then called me last week I told them I was still having issues. The TWC guy was suppose to be here between 8-10 this morning. When I called them to find out an eta I was told it was cancelled. I now have them coming between 10-12. I am glad they are having the person come out but so ****ed that they cancelled it with out my approval.
I'm happy now TWC guy just left. Re did the cable going into the house and put new splitters on and such. Hopefully I will get better digital signal.
Right now TW sucks. Signed up for digital telephone 2 weeks ago. Have had nothing but trouble with outages. Today both RR and digital phone was out most of the afternoon. Finally back up now. Any we had very important need for both. I will say it again TW sucks! They are coming out tomorrow PM. TW cable TV was not out. Go figure.
Maybe you haven't had the right tech come out. Ask for Tony Allen. He is the bomb! Will straighten your problems right out.
I have had the same problem with my living room connection where the DVR is. I was thinking that it had to be that particular cable (more than ten years old). I was going to replace it myself. Will TWC come out and replace it at no charge to me? Thanks for any info.
They replaced some old cabling and splitters. put it all under my house in the crawl space. Seams to have done the trick. The splitters I had were about 15 years old and out in the weather so it was all rusted. Digital signal is more par snickety then analog signal.
I KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT THE LAST STORM IT BLEW MY CABLE BOX OUT IT TOOK THEM 4 DAYS TO REPLACE IT.IM SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH EMBARQ WITH THE TRIPLE PLAY ,PLUS ITS ALOT CHEAPER THE TWC. LIKE 100 DOLLARS. IT REALLY STINKS :hurray:
