It is simple, if it is the grace of God one set survived it must also be the grace of God the other situations have no survivors.
well now you are changing statement... at least this one isn't confusing like the other one was... God has a hand in both situations....
Nope, in both cases there is a descision against survivors. Sorry, if you get confused all you have to do is ask ... That is the belief of some, but you rarely see them callingit the grace of God people did not survive ....
The same way he decides FOR survivors in your statement except it is just the opposite in results ......
Well I never said it was by the Grace of God people didn't survive, that comment was made by you. Nice try though
Wayne it's all there to see plainly what was said I'm not going to participate in your game here.. find another player.
If it was there to plainly see you should not have needed to ask for clarification, but you did and then you seem to want to say one thing applies and the inverse does not. That seems to be the only game being played by anyone and you are the only one trying to play it. You do not like the explanation so it is my game?
Oh so now you are on to name calling... good one.. but you know what Wayne you the fool on this subject you started, hard to spin this away from that, but keep trying it just adds on to it.
Don't laugh those are the trained dolphins the Navy has, they can be used as underwater explosive setters on ships...
That comment is exactly why Americans are in love with Reality TV. "I'll eat bugs for money." There's a point in your existence where money can control you or augment you. The decisions that lead to control, based on the want for a better life over dignity, has become the norm in our society. Our flag needs a logo, "Anything for a Buck." The comment is also the reason we stopped criminals in profiting from their actions with book sales. 180 degrees from hero books, but a very similar intent. Publishers are akin to ambulance chasers in law firms. Please leave your dignity at the door and take this money. Turning his part in near tragedy to profit cheapens the end result. One of the most enlightening emotional feelings in a human is the high you get when you unselfishly help another. To help someone and then sell the event for profit does cheapen the event. No matter how hard you try to rationalize the negatives in the decision. In other words, I am saying I "wouldn't do that in a situation like that." I'll find my families financial future without sacrificing dignity.
And that's perfectly fine and honorable. I, however, am not foolish enough to just dismiss that I wouldn't be tempted by the idea of securing my families future. Would I exploit them in that attempt? No, but I wouldn't be afraid to put my dignity aside if it meant my son never had to worry about how to pay for college or that my husband and I wouldn't have to worry about retirement, which is the situation we are currently in. Is it sad that we live in a society driven by money? Yes, but that's the reality of the situation as well as the fact that the economy is in the crapper and people are struggling so I'm not going to fault them for wanting to financially secure themselves.
Sully isn't putting his dignity at bay on this... its the view of judgemental people that are throwing away his dignity not him... which in turn is putting into question their own dignity passing judgement on him... Where are all these glass houses anyway???
