I won't be able to do the walk, but I can host a Pampered Chef Fundraiser party for the team? Anyone be interested in coming and bringing friends or helping me get the word out? May is Cancer Month with Pampered Chef, so it could go hand in hand with the relay. Actually I was just thinking that it might be easier to do a catalog, (or website) show, especially if people could not make it. I can get books to people and they can be passed out along with my website. I would be more than happy to set this up!

I am already on my church's team. We did it for the first time last year and found it to be an incredible experience. Cancer has hit my family and my husband's family too frequently. Just a few weeks ago, I learned a college roommate had a double mastectomy. She's only 38. Our former neighbor just learned her biopsy results are benign. In fact, tonight I'm making stained glass awareness ribbons for our team. What's sad is that there are 26 different colors used for different types of cancers. That's WAY too many types of cancer to have in the world.
Wow...I'm so sorry to hear that. Just found out Saturday my cousin (more like an aunt to me...she is 60) has stomach cancer, stage1-2. She is having a port put in Wednesday and her first chemo treatment Monday. After chemo, they are taking out her stomach. It just keeps happening...

Help Needed! OKay...I'm calling out for some help, y'all. Our team has decided to do a cake walk at our campsite during Relay. We need some cakes!! These can be homemade or store bought. The actual event starts around 6:30 I believe. That would be the Survivors Ceremony. I think Pat Penny said we should start walking around 8 or 8:30. The team members need to be there around 1 or 2 on Friday to set up and put out luminairies. www.main.acsevents.org/goto/tammyboyd
