My dog has been missing since last night. He is a inside dog. His name is jack, but we sometimes call him jacky boy! He is a golden labrador retriever. He has a chain collar on him with his name and phone number, along with his rabie tag. He has small mark on the left side of his face where our cat scratched him. Also a white spot on his chest. He ran outside when the door opened, which he has never done before. We live on norris road in clayton, between barber mill road and lee road. Is there any kind of place that helps find missing dogs? Please let me know if there is and what I have to do!
Have you posted flyers? Make sure to get over to craigslist and post over there as well. Call all the shelters etc. And prayer works too. I know because I lost a dog once and found her with the Lord's help. I'll be hoping for his safe return. I know how your heart is breaking right now.
:iagree: Mine have gotten out some and I know it is heartbreaking and stressfull wondering where they are. But do check with the shelter live Volleygirl suggested. I am a little further down, but will keep my watch also. Do you by chance have a picture you could post? This might help. We will be praying for his safe return.
I'm so sorry this has happened. I guess this is why I am so freaky about how my house is...I have padlocks on our gates and a latching gate on our front porch. For those of you who have been to my house, you know the storm door doesn't open until the gate is shut and latched. I have dashers!
Thanks so very much to everyone for the support I have gotten on here! My dog has been found. We found him at a house on conner drive. He is injured, as if another dog or some kind of animal bit him. He is now safe and is being treated for his injuries, which his vet has to put him to sleep in order to treat him. Again thanks everyone for all the help!
I'm glad he's been found and hopefully the injury will be treated and he will make a full recovery. I know you're not stress free yet, but just having him back is a relief. Please do let us know how he does.
Missing dog- update Thanks to everyone! He is doing great. He was injured on his paw, ear, and leg which is fractured. All injuries are on his left side. We are so happy he is home and safe! Thanks again to everyone!
