We're refinancing our mortgage and of course they send us the package on Monday afternoon and it has to be back in their hands by Thursday. Which means that we have to get everything signed and notarized tomorrow, so that it can be overnighted back to the mortgage company. Of course we both work, 45 minutes away from each other.

So does anyone know of a place you go can for a notary that has extended hours? I can't find any banks that have extended hours tomorrow. Our preference would be some place close to 40/42 that can do it before 8am. Second choice would be someplace near the Crabtree Mall or Fresh Market in Cary (or anywhere in between) between 5:30 and 7pm tomorrow night.

I work with a girl who's a notary, but of course she's on vacation this week.

    Thanks!!!

If you can swing by downtown between 5:30 and 6:15 I can do it for you. PM me and we can maybe figure something out.

Thanks so much everyone!! I'm meeting up with Tams tomorrow to get it taken care of. I'm a little annoyed at the mortgage company for only giving us 2 days to get everything signed and notarized, but it'll be worth it in the end when our interest rate goes down a bit.

I would've told them that they will get it when I get it ready and if they don't like it tough crap... to much competition out there for that kind of demand... this may be a FORCED signing.

Just for the record, I am also a Notary and in Clayton, if services are ever needed.
