The EVOO Restaurant in Raleigh may be responsible for several food related illnesses. I have never dined in the restaurant. http://www.indyweek.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=oid:393798
there were alot more than 8 sick people, wakemed, rex and duke raleigh were full of vomiting and diarrhea pts from the resturant
My future sis is law was in an ambulance (for a wreck she was in) on the way to Wake North that same night. The EMS people told her it was a good thing she was headed there b/c all the other hospitals had ALOT of food poisoning cases. The whole time she was being transported she could hear them calling for more hazmat teams.
Yeah, I'm a bit wary of the sanitation scores here. It seems like every place has a high sanitation school, even ones that are visibly sketchy. I think they need to revamp the system to make it more difficult to get the highest ratings. I'd rather see a facility with a rating of 92 that I can count on, as opposed to one with a 99.5 that doesn't look anywhere near as stellar as that rating would suggest. And really, how does a restaurant get a rating over 100?
2 bonus points. When WRAL covers restaurant sanitation grades. They always say a restaurant may have received 2 points for taking the course but the score WRAL shows is without the 2 bonus points.
