We went to the Korean Grill Buffet on Capital last night... for anyone who enjoys authentic Korean food it was delicious! You cook it yourself at your table (or they will cook it for you) Lots of good stuff!!!! Galbi, bulgogi, kimchi, you name it!! YUM.
4614 Capital Blvd. -- Raleigh NC -- 919.872.3731 It was after the 401 split on the right.... there was a small strip mall behind it with a spa/pool store. Not quite to the Petsmart. (Ok I am a Joco girl, so that info may not help!) LOL
I heard they were a little pricy, but really they are all that way. I go to this place on the corner of atlantic/millbrook. The one in cary is pretty good also, but don't have that big of a selection
It is a bit on the higher side, but for all you can eat Ribeye I didnt think it was too bad. LOL (and hubby can EAT) I usually pay $15 for a plate in Cary, and this was $19 for all you can eat. We went back for lunch at it was $12... kids are $9 all the time. It is not a price I will pay everyday, but occasionally it is ok. (it is a good thing for my wallet that they are pretty far away.)
hMMM... i might have to try it out then.... What got you in eating Korean food. I haven't met too many people that has eaten Korean before. My favorite are jae yuk qui which is slices of spicy pork mixed with rice and vegetables. Bimibbob (sp??) is pretty good also.
I lived there for a few years! And loved every minute of it.... I didnt want to come home. How about you?
i was stationed in Taegu for a year and I traveled the whole year while i was there. The best thing I had over there was Bulgolgi wrapped in sesame leaves I beleive they were.. Put some rice in there with some hot sauce and it was great. Got to try a lot more of their food when I lived outside DC. Had some great Korean restaurants up there
I haven't had decent Korean food since I left Camp Casey back in 88. A little bulgogi on a lettuce leaf or piece of seaweed with a bit of kimchi rules! Mike
