Thats what it is!! I know some people that go there, They have won several thousand dollars there. they invited me to go, but I see that as the same as video poker games. I'm not about to go to jail!

I saw that a few weeks ago and was shocked. I was sitting in my car between there and Jersey Mike's talking on the phone, and had a great view inside. I had thought it was a business center, but it is definitely more shady than that. It was pretty dark inside and you could see that just about every one was doing online gambling. And the cloud of smoke that poured out everytime someone opened the door... way sketchy.

I could have sworn I went into this place last summer looking to fax something, and was really surprised when they said they didn't offer those services. Go figure.

I wonder if that's why the parking lot was packed when I went to Cook Out Friday evening! I was thinking the ballroom dance place was haivng one of their mixers/dances, but maybe they weren't!

I wonder what they could be charged with if they are only charging for internet usage. Is the Internet Cafe responsible if I place an online wager? Well, bad question, Is the internet cafe responsible if I access illegal material?

Money payoff is the key. Follow the dollars. If the business enables it, much less promotes it, one can attach a legal nexus to the business. Bada Bing...an unlicensed gambling establishment, failure to pay licensing fees, taxes, etc.
Accessory to the act carries a heavier penalty than accessory after the fact.

gambling is a game of chance, the phone cards(or what ever else they use) you buy in there are already predetermined winner or loser, that means it not a game of chance so its not gambling, its a loop hole but if the local sheriff wants to bust them he can but it wont stick

That the phone cards have a predetermined win or loss is immaterial. Does one take a chance where purchasing the card, in order to win? If so, res ipsa loquitur.
