You know, people think I'm crazy, but the building my job is in is haunted. I've seen it, heard it and others have too. It's be neat to find out but these guys seem a bit too new at it. And I don't have the funds to supply TAPS/Ghost Hunters to come here..........hmmm, maybe I could get my own equipment somehow....then get a few brave souls from my 4042 family and we can do our own investigation......Anyone in? :jester:
I saw that episode of Ghost Hunters after I went to the Battleship. DH swears he saw things on the ship. Of course he didn't tell me until on the ride home because I would have been done!
Hey bandmom - thanks for thinking of me! Our group too, is looking for places to investigate, so I won't be able to help that person. Godschild - shoot me a PM if you are serious. I am part of a local group and we've got all of the equipment, the trouble is finding places to investigate.
I can think of two houses that belong to family members, but they are in VA. I've never personally seen or heard anything, but some of them swear they have. I've only been creeped out once, and that was at Andersonville in GA, they made a movie about that place. The hairs stood up on my arms more than once while there.
Where do you work Godschild? I used to work in a retail store that definitely had spirits of some sort. Several of my coworkers and I saw them.
kdc, 3-4 hours Va? Or 5-6 hrs Va? We had discussed last year doing some travel, and I know of a few groups in Va as well if it is too far.
Hell, I've got just the place!! My pool pump gave out late last year and I now have a bonafide swamp in my backyard. So far we've noticed strange odors, a weird splashing sound at night, and swarms of insects gathering around it. We called Jay & Grant but haven't heard back from them yet. Feel free to bring your equipment out and investigate MaryJo's Haunted Swamp. Last week the guy who cuts my lawn asked me if there were any fish in there. :lol:
3.5 hours, in Wythe Co. Va. Lots of battlefields and Indian camp sites, etc. The house my Grandfather lived in creeps some folks out. My sister swears he never left, she lived there a couple years, her kids said some strang things while living there about him, and they'd never met him. Not sure if I believe it or not, but one never knows.
