On my way to work this morning, I was on Indian Camp going towards Polenta. I was just passing the main entrance of South Plantation (just by the Embarq hut). A vehicle was coming out of South Plantation. From where I sat it looked like they were doing a rolling stop and nearly plowed into my drivers door. I had to swerve to avoid being hit and blew my horn. When I looked in my rear view mirror they were driving on the wrong side of Indian camp. Looks like they had driving two or three houses worth on the wrong side of the road
Indian Camp is a nice quiet road now. I wonder what it's going to be like when that high school opens. That and Polenta. Looks like they are marking out where they plan on widening Polenta for turn lanes into the school. I remember a few years ago coming home grocery shopping and finding that two teens were drag racing on Indian camp and one crashed his car into a tree. between River Oak and Monticello
What time of day was it? I know that in the morning on Sunny days the sun is extremely blinding on Sommerset as you are leaving the South Plantation Subdivision. Even with sunglasses it is extremely hard to see the road and it gets really bad as you are getting nearest the island divider at the entrance to South Plantation. This is a very bad blind spot between 7:10-7:35 in the morning.
Dude you have about as much Luck as I do. Ya think it is safe for us to even be outside? Don't Say it SeaBee. Just stop right there,
It was about 7:04-7:07 this morning. They were still doing their bantering on Wral fm. I could understand blind spot an all. The person was in their Xterra and I was in my Mazda. But it still seamed like they did a rolling stop.
