have you taken a 90 min tour of a hotel or resort just to get the fantastic rate? please share your experience as i am entertaining the thought. thanks kids!
my son and dil did it and loved it, got an all expense paid trip to Disneyland and all they had to do was listen to the sales pitch for about an hour and a half for timeshares, well worth it for them and their 3 boys.
We've done it, and yes you will need a baseball bat! And count on at least double the time they say. May be worth it, for us they threw in some other stuff (coupons for dinner, half price rental car, etc.) If I was really trying to save money I'd do it again, otherwise thanks but no thanks.
this is what i am thinking! if i can listen to annoying, persistant folks spewing bs all day evryday.....to be sure i can handle this for 90 mins!
Good point... I mean really how much worse could it be than reading my crap around here... :jester::jester:
Or just ask really good questions like... Does the person per room limit just mean the number of people at one time or number of people allowed to enter and/or re-enter? Then explain by saying, I have more than 6 clients I need to service in one night...Just how does the limit work exactly? Or ask do they offer "happy finishes" with their massages at the spa? Because you want to offer your clients other options to relax before or after they see you. Then kindly explain what "happy finishes" are with your hands over the 5yo's ears of course. Go into great details about the need to expand your client base to that area.
CF, we've done it, and I'd do it again. DH would have to be drugged and dragged...lol He had to walk out of the room when they started with the high pressure pitch, I just sat there with a crying baby, smiling, and kept repeating myself, "no thank you". It's worth it, go........
thanks jen! i am leaning towards it.....the one i am looking at is super cheap and we would get 2 tix to bush gardens!
Somebody in my hubby's family used to go to those things and in the middle they would fake a huge argument and be asked to leave every time. How do you find the places that offer these things? Is there a website? I'm interested in one for Myrtle Beach if anyone has any info.
Oh oh that's a good one! Or start making out HEAVILY like newly weds or like freaky teenagers that will be in need of a plan B pill. I'm picturing animal noises and skin showing. Yeah, I wanna free/cheap trip do tell. :allears:
http://http://www.vacationsource.com/ in my plundering i found this. HOWEVER.....1 of the requirements is that you have a major credit card. we dont have dont want one so we cant do the one i was looking at. not all resorts require this so.....i will plunder some mo.
we have done these several time, Tenn, Va and SC.. all where great trips and got some good deals.. 90 minutes is not long, just try to schedule for 1st thing in the morning to get it over with.
