Anyone else see the strange light in the sky?

My DH was just outside smoking and come running in. There is a light in the sky that is glowing red, orange, blue and green. It's moving in a circular motion. Has anyone else seen this??

Were off of 42 near cornwallis. My mom can also see it and she's on Matthews Road.

It just went straight up and it's gone now!

seriously, don't know, but we saw probably 6 very low flying planes right over our house, and I mean LOW tonight. I came on here just to see if anyone else posted anything about seeing them. It was probably about 7:30.

c-17's military cargo about 6-7 went over at various times but within 1 hr or so of each other.

 

It's back but it has moved. Now it's more over 40. I saw the planes today it's not them.

 

Could the military be testing out new spy stuff? We are looking at it with the binoculars and it's taking on a round shape. I have never seen anything like it before. It's really weird.

Sounds like fighter jets preparing to leave the area after the air show over the weekend. The colorful lights you were seeing it are the fuel tails.

 

:jester: that was the first thought that ran through my head!

 

I've seen this before too over the years. Once I watched it for a while, and then a passenger plane came along. These lights bounced around it and went back and forth - almost playing with the plane. I would think that would be a no-no.

Heat lightening, maybe?
